'Unusual' Stargroup defers Indue ATM deal

29 March 2017 5:15PM
Payments processor Indue will be left waiting until the end of April to learn whether Stargroup ATM is able to finally settle on the latter's long deferred takeover of the former's own automatic teller machine arm.Stargroup yesterday advised the ASX of a third delay to the purchase, a deal first announced in September. The new terms include a "further non-refundable deposit" of A$325,000 (a payment already made) with a further $2.6 million due to be paid "on or before 14 April."The original funder pulled out but Stargroup's chief executive, Todd Zani, said that following an "unusual" few weeks, it received "numerous offers of support from shareholders and alternative funders".
