Phil Khoury, managing director of Cameron Ralph Pty Ltd, will conduct the latest review of the Code of Banking Practice, the Australian Bankers Association said yesterday.Khoury, a former ASIC senior officer, will also review the activities of the Code Compliance Monitoring Committee, the independent compliance monitoring body established under the code.The ABA foreshadowed the acceleration of period reviews of the code and the CCMC two months ago as part of a package of responses to community concerns around industry confidence.Khoury asked that submissions on the review be lodged by 19 August 2016.Jan McClelland conducted the last review of the Code in 2007/2008.
