AFCA adds to its senior ranks
The Australian Financial Complaints Authority has bolstered its ranks with the appointment of two new lead ombudsmen. Lawyer Natalie Cameron joins as Investment and Advice Lead Ombudsman and another lawyer, Heather Gray, joins as Superannuation Lead Ombudsman.Cameron is moving from MLC, where she was chief of customer operations. Her career includes working at Clayton Utz, and ASIC, where the focused on regulatory policy ad markets. She has also worked at insurer AIA Australia, where she was general counsel and company secretary. She was also chief executive of AIA New Zealand.Gray is moving from the superannuation practice of law firm Hall & Wilcox. She started her career at Arthur Robinson & Co (now Allens), where she was a partner. She sat on the Law Council of Australia's superannuation committee and was a director of Legalsuper, the legal profession's industry fund.
