ANZ resets IT organisation
ANZ adopted a new structure for its information technology organisation, and recruited some offshore executives to lead key IT divisions, the Financial Review reports.The bank advised staff yesterday of nee structure for IT, split into three global and two regional groups.The AFR reports that these are global retail, commercial and wealth (as a single group IT business), institutional and group functions. There will be regional teams catering to the Asia Pacific and New Zealand businesses.New hires at the general manager and chief operating officer level reported by the AFR have been recruited from offshore, including from Lloyds, JP Morgan and RBS.
