ANZ is committed to ownership of its global hubs and IT has "not had any discussions about our Bangalore hub with Wipro Ltd about a possible sale", ANZ said on Wednesday.The bank was responding to a report in The Hindu newspaper that Wipro was in talks to acquire ANZ Operations and Technology and ANZ Support Services India."They are an important part of our super regional strategy and a source of competitive advantage," Stephen Ries, senior manager, media relations, for ANZ, wrote in an email. Wipro, he said, is a supplier to ANZ.Wipro told India's Economic Times in an email that it was "in agreement with ANZ's statement. We have a long standing, valued partnership with ANZ and we cherish this relationship."
