ANZ upgrades internet banking platform
ANZ has upgraded its internet banking platform to provide a "consistent user experience" across desktop, tablet and mobile formats.ANZ's 2.1 million internet banking customers will be able to access the full suite of internet banking features from any device, as well as improved security features.ANZ's managing director products and marketing, Matthew Boss, said in a media release that the bank expected 90 per cent of its internet traffic to be via smartphones by 2020.New features include a facility allowing businesses to approve payments "on the go".The new security feature, ANZ Shield, authenticates transactions using a one-time security code.ANZ's goMoney mobile app, which has a limited range of functions, has not been upgraded.
