Appointments: Marriott joins Westpac board, New Data Action CEO, NAB appoints SA head of business ba
Westpac has appointed Peter Marriott to its board. Marriott was chief financial officer at ANZ for 15 years, until his retirement last year. He is also a non-executive director of ASX Ltd. Data Action, an IT service provider to financial institutions, has appointed a new chief executive. Karl Grant, currently a senior director of Hewlett Packard's business and applications service in the South Pacific, will take the top job at Data Action in July. Grant replaces Data Action's long-standing chief executive, Brian McCulloch, who is retiring. National Australia Bank has appointed Tom Renda as the new manager of its business banking division in South Australia. Renda was most recently head of NAB's corporate operations in Victoria.
