Bank board-hopper crosses to Macquarie

Patricia Cross may qualify for some sort of record for service on the largest number of listed financial services' boards.With the ink barely dry on her resignation - styled as a "retirement" - from the board of National Australia Bank, Cross has joined the board of Macquarie Group.Cross has served on the board of Suncorp and AMP as well since leaving the NAB executive payroll in 1996.
