Branches with Bank of Melbourne branding are finally among the branch closures being undertaken by Westpac.Bank of Melbourne branches in Dandenong, Officer and Preston are among "five branches identified for closure" by Westpac. The Finance Sector Union publicised the list last week.The bank has advised the union of 53 job cuts affecting group technology as well as the five branch closures.A number of IT functions and activities "will no longer by handled by Westpac Group staff and will instead be outsourced and offshored," the FSU said.
