Barnaba wings onto RBA board
A second veteran of Macquarie Bank will join the board of the Reserve Bank of Australia. Mark Barnaba will serve a five-year term from 31 August 2017. Barnaba has resigned as Macquarie Capital's head of global resources to allow his shift to the RBA, the AFR reports.Barnaba is a director of Fortescue Metals Group and a former chair of West Coast Eagles.He is the founder of ?Azure Capital, a Perth-based investment bank and recently ended a stint as chair of Macquarie Group (Western Australia).On the RBA board Barnaba will work alongside Allan Moss, former managing director of Macquarie Bank.
