BOQ upsizes ABS
Bank of Queensland completed an issue of asset-backed securities yesterday, increasing the size of the issue from A$500 million to $700 million.BOQ's Series 2012-1E REDS EHP Trust, which is backed by a portfolio of vehicle loans, included one tranche denominated in sterling.The bank said 14 domestic and four offshore investors participated in the deal.The bank said it priced the $112 million A1 tranche, which has a weighted average life of 0.22 years, at 65 basis points over the 30-day bank bill swap rate.The $313 million A2 tranche, with a weighted average life of 1.58 years, was priced at 170 basis points over swap. The $26.25 million B tranche, with a weighted average life of 1.95 years, was priced at 250 basis points over swap. The £100 A2G tranche, with a weighted average life of 1.58 years, was priced at 130 basis points over the 30-day Libor rate. Pricing on the C, D and E tranches and the Seller Note was not disclosed.
