Brief: ANZ's Ohlsson to take a break

Fred Ohlsson, who has been group executive for ANZ Australia since early 2016, is stepping down from his current role to take an extended unpaid career-break in his native Sweden. In a statement announcing the move, ANZ said Ohlsson has held senior roles in retail and commercial banking across Australia and New Zealand. The current group executive of ANZ's business and private banking division, Mark Hand, has been appointed acting group executive Australia, while the management team reviews the structure for the Australian division. Ohlsson will assist with a hand-over during January.
