Brief: CBA whistleblower claims he was bullied and sacked
Former CBA executive Timothy Richard Cradock is seeking compensation of around A$5 million, alleging he was bullied and sacked after blowing the whistle on the susceptibility of the bank's "introducer rewards" system to false claims by bank staff, reports The Sydney Morning Herald. The SMH reports that in the statement of claim lodged with the Federal Court, Cradock (who was overseeing group strategy and internal financial services) claims he reported his discovery to several of the bank's senior executive team. The SMH says Cradock also made a bullying claim against Lyn McGrath, executive general manager of retail sales and services, before he was made redundant in April 2013.
