Brief: New culture chief to come at RBNZ
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand's head of people and culture is leaving the bank, as it creates a new Assistant Governor position to lead its growth and transformation work, and "further develop its people and culture". Governor Adrian Orr said the Assistant Governor/General Manager of People and Culture role, currently held by Lindsay Jenkin, has been disestablished and Jenkin will not take up the new Auckland-based role. He said the structural change would support the Bank's growth and transformation plans, particularly in Auckland, and enable it to better connect with stakeholders. Recruitment will begin before the end of the year.
