Pepper Group has committed A$1.2 million in equity funding to a global innovation network, 1776. Founded in 2013 and based in Washington, 1776 fosters start-ups in a wide range of industries through an incubator program and a venture fund. Pepper's funds will contribute to the extension of 1776's work outside the US and the establishment of a financial services program. The company hopes the investment will give it access to innovative ideas.
