Flexigroup NZ is facing questions after interest.co.nz reported that someone who stole a wallet was able to get a Q Mastercard credit card issued in their victim's name. The only ID required for an online application for such a card is a current NZ driver's licence (which was in the stolen wallet). Police are currently investigating. Flexigroup told interest.co.nz it takes fraud very seriously and was confident in its application process.
