Brief: Talk of Tanner to go, Nimble seeks buyer
Bank of Melbourne founder Scott Tanner is to leave Westpac, claims a report in The Australian. There is no official confirmation, nor detail on when or why the 56 year-old, who was charged with leading the transition from St George to Bank of Melbourne and served as CEO of the Westpac subsidiary until 2016, would be leaving. Most recently Tanner has been Westpac's chief digital officer. Short-term lender Nimble Money is scouting for a buyer, the Financal Review reports in its Street Talk column. It has a loan book of about A$40 million.
