Briefs: ANZ resets advice offers
ANZ will no longer offer its Prime Access financial advice service to new customers and will phase it out for current customers over the next 18 months, the bank said on Friday. A year ago ANZ began to refund some customers for fee charged when no service was provided. The bank paid a $3 million penalty for this misconduct. Mike Norfolk, the bank's head of private banking and advice said a replacement service "will give customers complete control of when and how they want to review their financial plan."
