The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has imposed additional licence conditions on a Sydney mortgage broker, the Australian Property Funding Group (trading as Award Mortgage Solutions), after finding that the company was not complying with its obligations. ASIC said that Award did not properly assess and verify loan applications, and did not always give disclosure documents to clients. Award will engage an independent consultant to review its compliance processes. National Australian Bank has appointed Justin Greiner as chief executive of its wealth business, JBWere. Greiner moves to JBWere from ANZ, where he was most recently general manager of wealth transformation. Greiner is the son of the former New South Wales Premier Nick Greiner.
