Briefs: Docherty confirmed in CFO role, Mortgage Choice poaches Parkes

Alan Docherty will be Commonwealth Bank's third chief financial officer in 18 months, following confirmation of his appointment yesterday. Docherty has been acting as CFO since May 2018. Docherty was Chief Financial Officer of the Institutional Banking and Markets division. He joined the bank in 2003. Mortgage Choice poached Ian Parkes as its new chief financial officer, the company said yesterday. Parkes was CFO at Homeloans Limited.  He replaces Susan Mitchell who was elevated to CEO in April.
