Briefs: Gateway follows the trend, Fitch affirms Macquarie ratings

Gateway Credit Union will join the fray and seek member approval to trade as Gateway Bank. Members will vote on the change in November at the annual meeting. Gateway has around A$1 billion in assets and 30,000 members.    Fitch Ratings said it had affirmed the ratings of Macquarie Group, Macquarie Bank Limited and related entities. Fitch did, however, "revise its support rating floor" to BB+ from BB.
