Bendigo and Adelaide Bank says it has another 32 sites in development for Community Bank franchises. It opened 20 Community Bank branches last year, taking the current total to 295, or more than half of all branches under the bank's banner. Commonwealth Bank's New Zealand subsidiary ASB is losing its general manager for strategy, compliance and program management, Ian Burns. He will become the country head in New Zealand for The Trust Company, which owns trust firm Guardian Trust. Burns begins his new role next month. Macquarie Group has raised US$1.3 billion from institutional investors for investment in a new infrastructure fund, according to the Australian Financial Review. The fund will invest in several projects in the United States, including a new bridge in New York, connecting New Jersey and Staten Island.
