Financial markets researcher East Coles has rated Morgan Stanley's banking research team, led by Richard Wiles, as the top sell-side banking research team in the Australian market. The UBS team, led by Jonathon Mott, was ranked second and the Credit Suisse team, led by Jarrod Martin, was third. Rankings are based on a survey of fund managers. Vow Financial, a finance broker owned by Yellow Brick Road, has formed a partnership with Valiant Finance to provide small business loans. Valiant entered the market last year as a specialist small business comparison site, offering a loan matching service and expert support. The Australian Financial Review reports that Reinventure has taken a stake in Valiant.
