Briefs: New appointment for WAM Global ahead of IPO

As it prepares to launch an IPO for its WAM Global fund, Wilson Asset Management has appointed Catriona Burns lead portfolio manager for the new listed investment company.  Burns began her career with Wilson, as an investment analyst, before leaving for a stint at global ethical investor Hunter Hall in London followed by a funds management role with Airlie Funds Management. The IPO launched is planned for late April.
