Briefs: New head for ANZ International, MyState markets RMBS, Bank of Tokyo seeks large-scale fundin
• Richard Dawson is ANZ's new head of loans and specialised finance, international. Dawson will join ANZ from KPMG in London where he was global head of debt advisory. Prior to this, he held roles including regional head of corporate and structured DCM with RBS in Hong Kong, and global head of syndicated loans at ABN AMRO in London. Based in Hong Kong, Mr Dawson will report jointly to Christina Tonkin, and Farhan Faruqui, group executive, international and commence the role on 23 April.• MyState Bank is marketing a securitisation of prime residential mortgages it has originated, to be known as the ConQuest 2018-1 Trust. S&P Global Ratings has assigned its preliminary ratings to five classes of prime RMBS tranches, totalling A$400 million. The top 3 classes, totalling $389 million, are all rated AAA (sf) by S&P.• The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd, via its Sydney Branch has launched a new Australian dollar-denominated benchmark five-year Transferrable Certificate of Deposit. Price guidance is 100 basis points over 3-month BBSW. The sale is expected to price no later than today, subject to market conditions. The bank is rated A1 (Stable) by Moody's and A (Stable) by S&P. Joint lead managers are MUFG, MS, ANZ, NAB and Westpac.
