Briefs: Warning for Wild, S&P revises Genworth outlook
Martyn Wild, chief investment officer of Westpac's BT arm is the subject of allegations of personal misbehaviour at work toward two female staff, a topic reported today by Fairfax Media. Wild has been issued with a formal first and final warning, Fairfax says. Standard & Poor's yesterday revised its outlook on Genworth Australia to negative from stable, premised on any "further significant contraction of its business base is outside our [prior] expectations of a return to premium growth in 2017. "Genworth Australia recently announced that its second-largest customer, an unconfirmed big bank, "which comprised 14 per cent% of its gross written premium, would not be renewing its contract with the insurer." S&P affirmed its A+ ratings on Genworth Australia.
