Briefs: Westpac branch cull, NAB Community Engagement head moves
Westpac is continuing to cull its national branch network, with another two outlets earmarked for closure. The latest branches set to be shuttered are in Inglewood in WA and an outlet in the central Victorian town of Kingston. So far this calendar year Westpac has withdrawn ten branches from its network. Since the middle of 2015 the group has pulled the plug on more than 60 branches, with the bulk of the closures occurring in NSW. Jodi Kennedy, Head of Community Engagement at National Australia Bank has left the bank and joined Equity Trustees as general manager, charitable trusts and philanthropy.
