Bruce leaves AMP Bank
AMP will meld its banking and Australian wealth management business units "into a combined organisation to be named AMP Australia".Rod Finch, currently managing director, wealth products and platforms, has beenappointed to managing director of AMP Bank.Sally Bruce, the current CEO of the bank will "step down" and relocate to Melbourne.AMP CEO Francesco De Ferrari said the new approach "reflected AMP's client-ledstrategy."Closer integration of the businesses was part of our long-term plan, and with Sally's decision to step down we have been able to accelerate our internal re-organisation."De Ferrari said of Bruce's four years leading AMP Bank that she "delivered double-digit earnings growth, through consistent growth in revenue and client numbers, as well as creating a strong and inclusive culture within the bank". Rod Finch, who replaces Bruce, joined AMP in 2013 from Lloyds Banking Group.
