Challenger label suits Tyro

Natalie Dinsdale, a banker with a pedigree in fintech, has joined Tyro Payments as new head of brand and marketing. Her Linkedin profile relates that she most recently worked for private equity outfit Foundry Innovations. In 2012 she founded, and was CEO at, Mamadoo, "an e-commerce start up to aggregate shops relevant to parents and children into one platform." Tyro's media release includes a summary of her banking experience with Egg, Virgin Money, UBank and Bankwest.In that media release, Tyro CEO Gerd Schenkel pointed to future business plans, saying he was "delighted to strengthen Tyro's leadership team with someone of Dinsdale's capability in creating and developing challenger brands and propositions. "Tyro is at an exciting phase of its growth," Schenkel said.
