Chronican renews his team
ANZ has filled the gap in its Australian leadership team following the retirement, in May, of its managing director of products, strategy and marketing, Louis Hawke. Yesterday, the bank announced the appointment of Matthew Boss as managing director for products and marketing.Boss joined ANZ after working for Bank of America in North Carolina, where he held senior retail banking positions.ANZ also announced the appointment of Glenn Haslam, an executive with 15 years' experience at ANZ, to the role of general manager for transformation.Haslam will be responsible for projects to simplify the business, increase productivity and "make it easier for customers to bank with ANZ", the bank said.And, Jeremy Dean has been appointed general manager Australia operations.All three will report to ANZ's chief executive Australia, Phil Chronican.
