If there is to be a royal commission into CBA, one must assume it may end up ranging over more than financial planning mishaps and an unobservant bank board.Every nut job in the place may see a royal commission as a chance to ventilate over some slight by the bank, or any other bank.But perhaps a thorough study of the bank would be a good thing.The modern custodians of Commonwealth Bank did a lousy job commemorating its centennial in 2011.So maybe it's time to disinter some bank history and point the finger where it's due.
