Comment: Too many banks

Questions over industry structure have to be asked. Is four pillars a wise choice?Three, two and one pillar all have to be credible options, and hopefully have their champions.Another option is to splinter the four into more, UK style. It would be easy to do. Put SBT back on the streets for a start.As for sticking with the status quo, the FSI should look for reasons to discard that option.
