A DFAT-style 'select documents' history is needed to lead bank customers and bank investors through the details of their bank's recent brush with crisis around the GFC.Macquarie Bank would be a principal feature of such a study, along with the central bank dependencies of many banks.In the wake of the GFC we need to be asking; what were the details of these arrangements? What special help did banks need and get?
