Credit Union board election sparks fraud charges
The election of a director of WAW Credit Union is at the centre of allegations of voting fraud.Neil John Evans has been charged after allegedly misusing the personal information from 499 WAW customers to access an online portal and vote in a 2015 board election. WAW had referred customers to Evans' company, Neil Evans Financial Services Pty Ltd, ASIC said in a media release.Timothy Frazer was one of two people elected to the board, along with David Iverson, The Border Mail reported.
