Ex-NAB exec lands CFO gig at Archa
Melbourne-based banking aspirant Archa is gradually filling key roles in its senior management team and appears to be trawling the talent pools of major banks.Archa CEO Oliver Kidd told Banking Day yesterday that former NAB executive Nicky Konstantinou had been appointed the company's inaugural chief financial officer.Konstantinou joins Archa after a 16-year stint at NAB in financial control and treasury roles.Kidd also confirmed that the company entered talks with APRA last month with a view to securing a banking authority next year.The company has appointed PwC Australia as its regulatory and compliance adviser.The startup is in the middle of a second round of funding after raising A$1 million in seed capital in May.Foundation investors include Professor Amir Amel-Zadeh from Oxford University's Said Business School.
