Wages growth in the finance and insurance sector is skipping along. The Australian Bureau of Statistics estimated hourly rates of pay excluding bonuses increased by 3.1 per cent over the year to June 2013 in the sector.Australia-wide wages growth was 2.5 per cent. Growth in finance sector wages over four years was 15 per cent, broadly in line with the wider workforce.
