News site AltFi has launched a data analytics business, providing "institution grade" analytical tools to the marketplace lending market in the United Kingdom. The subscriber-only service will list details of loans and cash flows supplied by Funding Circle, Zopa, RateSetter and MarketInvoice, whose combined business represent an estimated 70 per cent of the UK marketplace lending market. Users will be able to analyse loan volumes, aggregate rates, arrears and bad debts, terms and returns. One of the aims of the initiative is to give investors a better understanding of the sector. BankAxept, Norway's domestic debit network, will licence contactless and mobile debit solutions from Canada's Interac. BankAxept is the first client to license Interac payment solutions internationally.
