Foreign news: China's bad loans keep rising
The non-performing loan ratio among China's commercial banks hit 1.67 per cent at the end of 2015 - the seventeenth consecutive quarterly increase in NPLs, according to the China Banking Regulatory Commission. The value of non-performing commercial loans has reached US$196 billion. Standard & Poor's has forecast that the NPL ratio will reach 3.1 per cent by the end of this year.
