Foreign news: Commerzbank moves into marketplace lending, alternative credit fund lists on the LSE

Commerzbank is launching a marketplace lending platform as part of a broader digitisation strategy. The platform will be SME facing, bringing together businesses seeking loans in the €200,000 to €10 million range with professional investors. Hadrian's Wall, an alternative credit fund, floated an investment trust via an IPO on the London Stock Exchange this week, AltFi News reports. Hadrian's Wall Secured Investments raised £80 million versus a targeted £150 million. The fund is targeting yield of six per cent and the loans it holds will be secured by a range of business assets.
