Deutsche Bank is planning to cut 23,000 jobs - about a quarter of its workforce, Reuters reports. It is also planning to spin off its PostBank division. New chief executive John Cryan, who took the top job at Germany's biggest bank in July, is putting the finishing touches to a reorganisation plan. Reuters reports that other European banks, including UniCredit, are also making big job cuts.
