Foreign news: Deutsche scraps bonuses

Deutsche Bank has scrapped its cash bonuses for the year in a bid to save costs, CNBC reports. Deutsche is negotiating a settlement with the US Department of Justice of a US$14 billion fine over mis-selling of mortgage-backed securities in the end-up to the financial crisis. The bank is also reviewing its compensation policies.
