JPMorgan Chase plans to launch a mobile payment system to compete with Apple Pay, Reuters reports. The bank said it had signed agreements with Merchant Customer Exchange, a retail group that includes Wal-Mart and Best Buy Co, to accept payment made using Chase Pay. Apple Pay has struggled to sign up retailers to accept its payments, leaving an opportunity for rival systems.
