Foreign News: Moody's revises Singapore banking risk
Moody's Investors Service said it had revised its outlook for Singapore's banking industry to negative from stable, citing growing risks to profitability from exposure to energy-related industries and high levels of corporate leverage. Asset quality for Singapore's banks may worsen, with problem loans rising from a "very low" 1.1 per cent of gross loans at the end of March, Moody's said.
