Foreign news: No guns allowed in HSBC safety deposit boxes

HSBC has introduced stricter rules for the use of safety deposit boxes in Hong Kong, Reuters reports. Illegal drugs, stolen property and guns are on the banned list. HSBC is cleaning up its act after being fined US$1.9 billion in 2012 for failing to stop drug money flowing through its accounts in Mexico. It has also been caught in a tax evasion scandal in Switzerland.
