Financial messaging co-operative SWIFT has written to members urging them to upgrade their security, following a number of hacks against users of the network, Finextra reports. SWIFT told members that customers' environments had been compromised and attempts made to send fraudulent payment instructions. "The threat is persistent, adaptive and sophisticated - and it is here to stay," SWIFT said.
