Former Macquarie leasing manager charged with fraud
A former national leasing manager at Macquarie Bank has been charged with defrauding the company of A$1.2 million, The Age reports.The newspaper reported that Michael Roth, 43, is accused of falsifying documents for his own benefit for almost a decade.It is alleged that Roth was able to secure payments from the bank to himself by submitting fabricated leasing documents for items like cars and medical equipment, and then placing his own personal bank account details on the forms.Roth was the national manager of novated sales at Macquarie Bank.
