Growth one-sided at Beyond
Bright balance sheet data did not lead to any more profit for Adelaide's Beyond Bank in the year to June 2014.Net profit stuck at A$23 million, its level after an 18 per cent dip last year.New lending increased 11 per cent to $708 million. Deposits rose 9.6 per cent to $3.3 billion.Capital adequacy increased to 16.7 per cent, Beyond Bank reported.A merger with regional South Australian credit union Alliance One added 13,000 customers and $228 million to the balance sheet.New investments included "a new mobile-optimised website with the customer experience at the forefront of design", plans for "future enhancements on our website" and a new design branches in West Lakes and Singleton.
