Kiwibank chooses new CEO from within
The culture at Kiwibank is set to remain intact as outgoing chief executive Sam Knowles hands the baton to a person who, like him, was part of the original team that created Kiwibank.Three months after Kiwibank's first and only chief executive Sam Knowles announced his resignation, the bank has announced the appointment of Paul Brock to the position. The job of a chief executive won't be an entirely new one for Brock, who has several times in the past stepped into the role of acting CEO. One of those longer stints was last year when Knowles became the acting chief of NZ Post, and Brock took up his role in an acting capacity.Brock was most recently general manager savings and transactions at Kiwibank. He will step in to the new role immediately while Knowles relinquishes the position at the end of September.
