Macquarie Group said on Friday that it had settled the litigation over its connection with, and funding of, investors advised by Storm Financial. Macquarie said the settlement amount will be A$82.5 million, inclusive of costs.The group will fund this from provisions already put aside and from insurance recoveries.Commonwealth Bank of Australia remains a defendant in a class action presently underway in the Federal Court in Brisbane.
