ME's board makeover
ME Bank has had a big board makeover, with a new chair and two directors. The number of directors has been increased to eight.The new chair is Jim Evans, whose experience includes five years as chief risk officer of wealth at Commonwealth Bank. He is currently chair of Pendal Group. He is a non-executive director of Investa Wholesale Funds Management and ICPF Holdings.Former managing director of SEEK Ltd's international division, Peter Everingham, joins as a director. He is currently a director of Super Retail Group and a director of iCar Asia.David Issa joined the ME board at the beginning of April. He is currently a director of Industry Fund Services. He was the chief executive of online consumer network One Big Switch and CEO of personal insurance and chief investment officer at IAG.ME's previous chair Ken Hodgson, who served on the board for seven years, retired on April 1.
